Inaugural South Australian Chapter Meeting – A Landmark Event for the Scaffolding Industry

The Scaffolding Association Australia (SAA) proudly hosted its first-ever South Australian Chapter Meeting on March 14, 2025, bringing together 20 scaffolding companies from across the state. This milestone event was a testament to the growing momentum of the SAA and its commitment to uniting, strengthening, and advancing the scaffolding industry in Australia.

- Di Barry (SA Chair, SAA) opened the meeting with a warm welcome and introduced the SA Committee, outlining its goals and objectives for the region.
- Danny Zarb (SAA Vice Chair & Secretary) provided an overview of the SAA’s mission and initiatives, reinforcing the association’s role in supporting scaffolders nationwide.
- Andrew Yeung (Scaffolding Software) showcased an innovative scaffolding software platform designed to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Adam Nash (ScaffSafe) introduced ScaffSafe, a cutting-edge safety product aimed at enhancing scaffold compliance and risk management.
- Craig Callaghan (ICCONS) demonstrated ICCONS’ latest products, including a pull-out tester, essential for verifying anchor performance in scaffolding applications.
- Glenn Hanna (SAA Insure) presented SAA Insure, a tailored insurance solution specifically designed for the scaffolding industry.
- Holly Turner (DWF Australia) delivered an essential legal update, providing insights into regulatory compliance and legal services available to SAA members.
- Stuart Robb (SafeWork SA) gave a crucial regulatory update, ensuring members are informed on current workplace safety standards and enforcement priorities.
