What a great day at the Workplace Health & Safety Show Brisbane!
Our General Manager, Erryn O’Brien, got to meet in person 2 important partners of the Scaffolding Association Australia, Tina Wieczorek, CEO SARNZ- Scaffolding, Access & Rigging NZ Inc., Scott Barber, CEO and Deborah Chick, Association Secretary, Strategic Development and Programs Manager Working at Height Association. We’re looking forward to further exploring the partnerships and collaboration opportunities between our associations.
Scott did a wonderful presentation on “Collaboration to affect change in height safety” where he spoke about the important role industry associations have to play in the policy development process, the development of standards and codes of practice, and the sharing of best practice.
By collaborating we’ll each be able to contribute our perspectives and experiences in a coordinated approach to better affect change.
Really inspiring ideas and thought leadership from Scott and we can’t wait to see where our collaboration opportunities take us!
