Australia’s Best Scaffolding Project Awards

In exciting news for Australia’s scaffolding industry, the Scaffolding Association Australia has announced its Best Scaffolding Project awards!

SAA Members can nominate and go into the running to win in their state; State winners are then flown to the AGM to compete in the National Awards!
 
Projects can be nominated in 4 industries:
  • Commercial

  • Industrial

  • Residential

  • Civil

Judging is based on the following criteria:
  • Compliance with Safety StandardsAdherence to all relevant safety regulations, codes, and industry standards
  • Innovation of DesignCreativity, uniqueness, and forward-thinking features in the scaffolding design
  • Technical ConsiderationsAssessment of technical aspects, including material quality and construction methods
  • Structural IntegrityEvaluation of the scaffolding’s stability, strength, and load-bearing capacity
  • Geographic and Installation Position ConsiderationsAdaptability to different geographic locations, climates, and installation positions
  • Ease of Assembly/DisassemblyTime and complexity involved in erecting and dismantling the scaffold

SAA Scaffold Erector Members can fill in and submit their entries using the form on the website; make sure you include which state your project is in as well as a detailed description meeting the criteria in the points above.

SAA Scaffold Supplier, Designer and Engineer members may work with their clients on the submission but cannot submit a project alone. The project must be submitted by the Scaffold Erector company.

State committees will award one winner in each state. State award winners will receive $1,500 in prize money and be flown to the SAA AGM in November to compete in the national awards.

The national award winner will receive $3,000 in prize money and the Australia’s Best Scaffolding Project trophy!
