Scaffolding Association Australia to Launch Association Management System

The Scaffolding Association Australia (SAA) is pleased to announce that we are currently building a new digital member platform that will significantly enhance how members connect with the Association and access the resources and benefits available to them.

This new platform, powered by the Membes Association Management System, will bring together membership management, communications, events and member services into one integrated system designed specifically for professional associations.

The system is currently under development and is scheduled to be rolled out to members prior to the July 2026 membership renewal period.

Why SAA is introducing a new member platform

As the Association continues to grow and expand its activities across Australia, it has become increasingly important to ensure we have modern systems in place to support our members.

The new platform will provide a central hub for all SAA member interactions, making it easier to manage memberships, access information, register for events and stay connected with the broader scaffolding industry.

It will also streamline many of the administrative processes that currently take place behind the scenes, allowing the Association to spend more time focusing on initiatives that directly benefit members and the industry.

A modern platform designed for associations

The Membes platform is a purpose-built Association Management System used by hundreds of professional associations across Australia and New Zealand. It brings together key association functions including membership management, communications, events, reporting and website integration into one system.

Rather than relying on multiple disconnected systems, the new platform will allow SAA to operate from a single, integrated environment. This means improved data accuracy, better security and a more efficient experience for both members and the Association team.

What members can expect

Once launched, SAA members will gain access to a dedicated member portal where they can manage their membership and interact with the Association more easily.

Member self-service access

Members will be able to log into their account to update their details, manage their membership and access invoices and membership information.

Simplified membership renewals

Membership renewals will be easier to manage, with automated reminders and online renewal options available through the system.

Improved communication

The platform will allow SAA to send more targeted and relevant communications to members, ensuring you receive updates that are most relevant to your business and role in the industry.

Event registrations and industry activities

Members will be able to register for events, webinars and future conferences through the platform, with all registrations and confirmations managed in one place.

Member directories and industry connections

The platform will also support directories and member engagement tools designed to help strengthen connections across the scaffolding industry.

Mobile accessibility

As a cloud-based system, the platform can be accessed across devices, allowing members to connect with the Association and manage their membership from anywhere.

Supporting the future growth of SAA

This investment is an important step in strengthening the Association’s ability to support the industry as it continues to grow.

The platform will allow SAA to deliver a more professional member experience, improve access to information and services, and support future initiatives such as technical resources, industry events and member engagement programs.

It also provides a strong digital foundation as the Association expands its national activities and industry advocacy work.

Rollout timeline

The system is currently being built and configured for the Scaffolding Association Australia. Over the coming months the SAA team will be preparing the system, migrating member data and configuring the platform to suit the Association’s structure and services.

Members can expect the new platform to be introduced prior to the July 2026 membership renewal period.

Further information and instructions on how to access the member portal will be provided to members as the launch approaches.
