Thank you to our Members, Partners, and Guests who attended our Queensland Members Meeting this morning both in person and online!
We had a number of excellent, industry-specific presentations from guest speakers:
🔶 Paul David, from Hutchinson Builders gave us an in-depth Queensland Construction industry update and projections for the coming years.
🔷 Tileah Miles from our RTO Partners, Ascent Training Solutions Pty Ltd introduced us to their company and services including the Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced scaffolding courses.
🔶 Adam Pringle – MAIB from BuildSkills Australia took us through the BuildSkills overview and remit, and how to submit a case for change for the current scaffolding training qualifications.
🔷 Robert Thiess from Construc Pty Ltd, specialist Temporary Works Structural Engineers and Chair of the SAA took us through common design issues in the industry when producing certifications and how to streamline this process.
🔶 Kylie Byron from Focus on EHS spoke on WHS Compliance and Documentation including SWMS and SOP’s, and how to make sure you’re compliant with your documentation on-site.
