After a huge start to 2024 business year, we hope everyone is feeling rested and recharged after the Easter Break!
Join us for our first Queensland Member Breakfast Meeting at Brisbane International Virginia Conference Centre.
Attending and presenting will be Mark Norris & John Barber from Workplace Health and Safety Queensland to update us on the current scaffolding issues WHSQ Inspectors are finding on sites, updates to 2 recent industry alerts involving ringlock type scaffold and plastic sole boards, and advice on the requirements for internal kick boards on deck heights less than 2m vertically from the structure.
Also presenting will be our insurance partners, HMD Insurance to update us on the SAA Insure scheme and our legal partners, Hall & Wilcox with an update on the services they can provide to members including the free legal advice hotline, along with a demonstration of an interesting scaffolding solution being used by some members.
