A key focus for the Academy is to advocate for strengthened training options and outcomes for Australia’s scaffolders. We believe that longer term training strategies like traineeships and apprenticeships should be the preferred method of training for new entry scaffolders. Scaffolding is a highly skilled occupation and should be supported by stronger training options that offer higher accreditation, creating a safer and highly competent scaffolding workforce. We continue to consult with industry stakeholders and training councils to affect positive change for our scaffolders.
