Close call; Construction Worker makes contact with 132000 volt powerline

This week a construction worker in Western Sydney was very fortunate to walk away from an incident that had the potential to be life-threatening.
This week a construction worker in Western Sydney was very fortunate to walk away from an incident that had the potential to be life-threatening.
 
While moving steel structures on a building site in a mobile elevated work platform, contact was made with a 132,000 volt powerline.
 
It’s an important reminder for all construction workers that electricity is all around them – from cables beneath their feet to powerlines above their heads.
