Scaff25 Silent Auction Raises $14,000 for the Touched by Christopher Foundation
Thank you to everyone who took part in the silent auction at Scaff25! The response from our members and partners was outstanding, and together we raised $14,000 for the Touched by Christopher Foundation. This incredible result reflects the generosity and commitment of our industry.
We’re grateful to the SAA members and partners who donated the auction items, including the SCAFFKiT Gear Keeper Retractable Kit, ScaffPlan licences and BOSS access, LINQ Height Safety harnesses, ConstructAmesh CAM Tough Mesh Load Covers, a Basic Scaffolding Course from Integral Skills, and Sitemax camp chairs.
A huge congratulations to our winning bidders:

About the Touched by Christopher Foundation
The Touched by Christopher Foundation was created following the loss of Christopher Cassaniti, who was just 18 years old when he was killed in a scaffolding collapse in 2019. The foundation exists to support families affected by workplace fatalities and to push for safer outcomes across Australian worksites.
Christopher’s mother, Patrizia Cassaniti, leads the foundation and has become a powerful voice for change. She travels around the country delivering safety talks that focus on real consequences, personal accountability, and why every worker deserves to get home safely.
Patrizia has also supported the SAA by coming onboard as our Industry Ambassador for our Stop Scaffold Tampering campaign.
